Techincal Assistance: Mission in Philippines
This report is from the 1953 Technical Assistance Mission in the Philippines. This mission focused on how Malaria was a major obstacle to increasing food production at the time. The report also stressed that should they succeed in eradicating Malaria and Bilharzia, there would be a lot of first class land available for the production of food. Aditionally, this report outlined the programs available for establishing a pulp industry throughout the province. Trainees were brought to Manila where they spread the use of newer looms alongside the production of better yarns and designs.
